Whole Again Communities aims to foster healthier communities by encouraging and supporting individuals in learning the art of cooking nutritious, affordable meals from scratch. They conduct workshops tailored for women who were living on a limited budget but wish to adopt a healthy eating lifestyle. After a fully grant-funded rebuild, their organisation has grown into a female-led organisation with six part-time members of staff and many volunteers, boasting their own Health and Wellbeing Hub.

The community centre approached Sun Sparks seeking solutions to save money on energy bills. We installed a sleek Esdec flat roof system coupled to a Fox inverter and battery solution.

Trerise Farm is a small family run campsite site located close to Ruan Minor on the Lizard Peninsula, with spacious grass pitches, electric hook ups, a shipping container shower block and cafe.

Stephen approached Sun Sparks following us completing two installations local to the farm – Stephen was seeking to reduce the farms energy bills. Sun Sparks liaised with the National Grid, we then installed the maximum value of inverter capacity permitted on the supply. We expect the system payback for this installation to be within four years.

The Star Inn, located in the heart of Porkellis, situated mid-way between the towns of Helston, Redruth and Falmouth on the edge of the Lizard Peninsula. The history of The Star Inn, Porkellis dates back to 1707. The current building was built in the early 1900’s and has been extensively refurbished in a contemporary style.

We were approached by Andrew and Anthony as they were seeking a solution to combat the rising energy prices. Sun Sparks installed 20kW of solar PV, 15kW inverter capacity, coupled with 40kWh of battery storage. The system is designed to offer full business back up in case of grid failure, to the lights on and freezers chilly.
